About the Reimagined Energy Podcast
If you’re working on something in Atlantic Canada’s energy transition — a project, a piece of research, a program, a technology — and you’d like more people to understand it, we’d like to talk to you. Being a guest on Reimagined Energy costs nothing. No package, no sponsorship, no catch. We’re always looking for people who can help explain this industry to the public that has to live alongside it.
Format
Episodes run a maximum of 25 minutes — long enough to go somewhere real, short enough that people actually finish listening. Recorded on video (Riverside.FM, similar to Zoom) and released as both an audio podcast and a YouTube video, so it reaches people wherever they already are.
The conversation
This is a conversation, not a sales pitch — we ask the questions a curious, reasonably informed member of the public would ask. Expect to talk about what you’re working on, why it matters, and the trade-offs involved, in plain language.
What you get
Exposure from your episode that is distributed across Reimagined Energy’s podcast platforms (Buzzsprout), YouTube channel, LinkedIn and email subscriber list — an audience that’s been building since April 2023.
Getting ready
No media training required. We’ll send a short list of topics ahead of time so you know what’s coming, and the conversation itself is relaxed and unscripted — think coffee chat, not press conference.
Who We're Looking For
- People working on wind, hydrogen, solar, storage, grid, or EV projects (particularly in Atlantic Canada)
- Researchers and academics doing relevant work at regional institutions
- Policy and economic development voices working on the region's energy transition
- Anyone with a genuinely useful perspective on making this industry easier for the public to understand and trust
